[chirp_users] RadioReference and Canada
I have a RR account that I use a lot with Uniden stuff, I now have a Baofeng and have downloaded CHIRP and was trying to access the RR site for freqs but when asked for my zip code I can only put a Canadian postal code and then it comes back telling me I have the wrong County?? how do Canadians access RR site thru CHIRP ? love the software so far Gary

Chirp just uses the getZipcodeInfo() function in the Radio Reference API (http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/RadioReference.com_Web_Service3.1#M...). As far as I can tell, they don't indicate what the behavior should be if a Canadian postal code is entered here, so I can't tell you what to expect. I don't see any recommendations in their documentation for how to handle Canadians (but I didn't look very hard).
