I recently purchased a couple of these hybrid radios (Analog / DMR). Are there any plans to program at least the analog channels with CHiRP?
Thank you!
Gary
To support a radio, the CHIRP developers (typically) need to have one of the radios on-hand to support development of the needed code to support the radio.
The radio list on the homepage lists all supported radios, and is (as I understand) auto-generated as part of the release build process.
If you want CHIRP to support a new radio, the best way to reach the developers is to post a new radio support request as described here:
https://chirpmyradio.com/projects/chirp/wiki/developersadd_a_radio
If a developer attempts to add support for a given radio they will probably ask if you can provide them with an example radio to work with.
Good luck,
