[chirp_users] WCH Chipset
I went to the Miklor website to try and diagnos some problems I am having in establishing the correct driver. Miklor said the WCH chipset will not recognize Prolific drivers, then said to follow a particular link, but it is in Chinese. I have Windows 10. What can I do?

Correct. You can't use one vendor's device driver with another vendor's chip.
You just need to go to the WCH chip vendor's English website. http://www.wch-ic.com/search?q=CH340&t=downloads

The ch340 chip of my cable was automatically recognized by win10. no installation of a driver was required. plug and play!
