[chirp_users] Daily builds on ubuntu
I installed Chirp from a tar.gz file and it didn't show the Yaesu 857d, so I removed it. Then reinstalled it by adding ubuntu ppa, but do not see the 857d in the Yaesu selection. Did I do something wrong or isn't in the uuntu build?? Ed

Which version did you try from the tar.gz? It needs to be one from the last few days or so. I don't think the ppa gets updated frequently enough to have the (fairly new) 857 support.
I will check and let You know, 73's, Ed

Right, so 0.1.12 was released months ago and CHIRP only gained support for the 857 and friends within the last couple of weeks. Grab the latest daily build (announced daily here and linked from the bottom of the download page).
