In WV 82 in menu 17 referring to the S code . it can be set to numbers 1 through 15 groups. The manual says this can only be set in chirp but when I looked there I could find nothing labeled s code. The only thing I could find numbered 1 through 15 is the Push to Talk ID. Are these related? Can someone please help me clarify this?

Had anyone used chirp for the new btech uv-5001?

The UV2501 and 5001 have just become available in the past week. A CHIRP request has been submitted but might take a bit of time to backward engineer.

Baofeng menu 17 S-CODE is PTT ID Code in Chrip.
Here are some charts that show the Baofeng menus and corresponding Chirp settings. A lot of them have different names.
