[chirp_users] Columns: Now you see them now you don't!
Some CHIRP "spreadsheets" show more columns than others.
For example: tuning steps
How do you control what columns are visible?
Did you try View -> Hide unused fields or View -> Columns then tick the ones you want? Just a though, may be totally off base but it might not be.

The available columns are a function of the CHIRP driver for each radio. They are developed to (hopefully) match the capability of each radio that they are written for. For example, the Baofeng UV-B5 does not require or use tuning steps when storing memory channels. Therefor, the tuning steps column is intentionally left out for this radio.
But on the other hand, the UV-B5 does support DTCS. However, if you think will rarely be using DTCS, you can go to View -> Columns and untick the three columns related to DTCS and they will no longer show in the memory spreadsheet memory editor. You can then tick them again later if you decide that you need to use them, or you can leave them hidden and use the right-click edit menu to make those rare DTCS changes.
