I have the cable and can get the radio into programming mode, and I'm running the latest CHIRP software on my computer. I've got the right port selected but when I hit transmit to clone the radio over to the CHIRP software, I get an error on the radio and a no response from the radio on the software. There is not much documentation on this that I am able to find. Is there a fix for this or something I have missed? Thank you in advance!

Make sure the Cable is RoHS USB-29C or a good clone
and Yaesu software at www.rtsystems.us/software.
Give that a go bud
I had heapz of problems with Chirp to a Yaesu FT90R... then came across RTSystems
