[chirp_users] Windows 10
It is easy on Windows 10, the trick is to always use the same usb port that has the com# set and the right version of the driver. I have seen several people pick a random port to plug into and think that windows is changing the driver. The facat is they are changing what port they plug into.
If someone is having too much trouble I can help over Teamviewer to remote help. Just email me if you are in that much need.

I have been using Windows 10 Pro x64 and CHIRP for some time now to support Baofeng UV-5RTP, Icom, and Kenwood, all with no problems. I had the usual CHIRP-related startup questions that I see newbies asking here (I did ;-), but Windows, the drivers and the cable all worked fine. Oh, I /did/ initially have a problem with the cable not getting inserted fully into the radio, but once I was told about that here, all went well.
