Hi CHIRP was Installed and functioned ok when programming a Baofeng BF-888S, i.e. frequencies were uploaded from the radio, and then saved as .img and .csv files.

Recently, when installing the recommended upgrade, the CHIRP files would not install. A new Baofeng UV-9R Plus was successfully connected to CHIRP using the Baofeng UV-82WP listing, and the frequencies from the radio uploaded to CHIRP ok, but files wouldn’t save in CHIRP (the SAVE Screen wouldn’t appear).

Can you please help?
