[chirp_users] My CSV File Attached
This was originally from my Baofeng, and I put in the 40 CB frequencies that go from line 120 to line 160. But after importing this, and then downloading it again from the radio, only lines up to 15 are in the radio. Glenn

You haven't fully populated the rows. The need to look close to the rows above. One of the differences would be that Mode would be AM. The best way to know how it should look is to program a memory in the radio and then export it to a CSV file. Then use that as a template for the rest.
Jim KC9HI
The trouble with that is that I can't yet use the radio, because the manual describing the buttons don't say which buttons in a way a Blind person can read. So I'm frustratingly trying to get some stuff f into it that I can use. Glenn

While it may not be a lot of help, can you relate what the manual says and then we can 'translate' them for you in ways you can (I'm sorry) see.

Well, it refers to using a button with a graphic that when converted to TXT does not make anything. So they refer to buttons that I have no way of knowing even their name. Also, if they did give the name, I would then need to have someone read where each button is, like for example There are four turn knobs. I figured out that the bottom one powers it on/off and the inner dial around it is the right side squelch. There is a left volume and squelch too. Above the volume and squelches on each side, are the tuning knobs. There are three vertical buttons between the knobs and display on each side, and there are nine buttons between the knobs. The fourth and ninth say scan on them. That is all I know. Glenn

Glenn, I forget which radio you have a the moment, but if you'll give the text surrounding the image I'm sure someone here can tell you which button or knob is referenced and where on the radio it's located. Am I missing the obvious here??? //al

I could send anyone the manual, it would take someone to read the manual and type a description as you would to someone you were describing it to over a radio. I put a call out on HandiHams for some help but nobody has stepped up. It is the Tytera TH-9800
