[chirp_users] Help kt-uv980
A friend has a new one of this radios but there is a problem. The radio will not open the squelch even with setting on 1. There is no tone programmed. I know this is not the place to ask this but if anyone has had this problem and can point me in the right directionI will appreciate it.Thanks.

Does he have Optional Signaling enabled? If yes, it needs to be set to OFF.
