[chirp_users] chrip live cd
hello again can some one out there tell me how you work this cd I am running windows 8 I did the image to cd ok tell me what to do after this I but the cd in and try to do things nothing happens help
I believe that there is a wiki on the website where you downloaded the file. You have to boot up on the CD that you created. You won't be using Windows 8 when you do that. You'll be using a flavor of Linux. Jim KC9HI

Since it is a live you have to put the CD in the drive and boot or reboot the PC. Note, the PC must have the bios set to have the CD drive as the first boot device for this to work. The CD has everthing on it it to only run the CHIRP program.
