[chirp_users] CHIRP 0.1.8b6
Hi all,
I just posted b6 with the following changes:
- Special memory (call, scan edge) support for all radios (except call channels on the 9x) - Fix the issue with the 2820's bank support that Dave Cooley hit - Fix the issue with Bank-A on all radios that Dave Tilson hit - Make the memory editor autoselect the next free bank index if one is not currently set when selecting a bank
The first item was quite rough, it turns out. However, I think it's working now with a few exceptions. First, I need to fix it up so that the special channels are always editable (since it's non-trivial to insert a new row between 3A and 4B). Second, I need to add an option in the View menu to show (or not) the special memories. Third, I need to get out the sniffer again and figure out what the magic incantation is to get the call channels from the 9x radios.
I didn't get a chance to make the CSV export use bank letters instead of indices, but I will.
Fix Confirmed! Only channel missing was channel 5 as you mentioned. That has been fixed.
Thanks
Now to tackle the 91.......

Great, thanks Dave!

Beware that the bank stuff is likely to cause problems when moving things between radios. Moving between the 2820 and a 9x should be pretty safe, I think, but the differing number of banks on an 800 will break things. I just need to make the import process able to handle these discrepancies by asking the user what to do. I just haven't had a chance to do it yet.
Thanks!
