[chirp_users] Subject: UV-5R Plus
I use CHIRP daily-20161123 that works at Baofing UV-3R+ and UV-5R without any problem, but uset at my new UV-5R plus I get the error "Incorrect 'Model' selected". Any suggestion?

It apparently is returning a firmware type that CHIRP doesn't know about. Attach a copy of the debug.log file.

All you needed to do is attach the debug.log here. You didn't even attach it to issue that you created. You must assist if you want this resolved.

Yes. The debug.log file was finally attached.
Your radio has 3 power levels. When you have a UV-5R style radio with 3 power levels you must choose BF-F8HP for the model.
So CHIRP was correct in stating that the wrong model was selected.

No problem. I updated the Supported Radio Models list to show the UV-5R PLUS as being another of one many models that use the BF-F8HP as the Model selection.
