[chirp_users] Baofeng UV5 R not responding
Hi I have downloaded and installed CHIRP daily -20150814 Im getting msg back An error has occurred Radio did not respond . Im running windows xp I belive I have the correct com port selected as the radio lights up and flashes when CHIRP attempts to clone. Any help greatly appreciated Cheers Brenton

Give the connector into the radio from the com cable extra hard push.

If your programming cable has a Prolific type chip in it, have you installed (or downgraded to) the Prolific v2.0.2.1 device driver?
