[chirp_users] Attention BF-T1 users: dev driver available to test.
Hi to all.
As the subject tells, there are a dev driver available to test for the Baofeng BF-T1 mini radio.
If you have one of those units and has a programming cable, please give it a try, instructions on this link to the chirp site: https://chirp.danplanet.com/issues/4933#change-14809
I'm developing the driver with no radio in my hands, so the user's feedback it's vital to de development.
I have been meaning to share this with some one at Chirp. I have Bofeng F9+TP I can program it with the BaoFeng BF-F8HP. file the columns don't line up on the download from Chirp but it will up load without errors. the cttcc doesnt show up on the redownload but I finger that in.
Thanks guys

I have a boafeng BF9-f9v2+ which I am trying to program using chirp and the baofeng cable and the BF-8HP file. I can add channels to chirp OK and the program recognizes and clones from the radio to the program list. However, I cannot upload to the radio from the program list. The pick list under radio does not give me the option to upload to radio: i.e. the "upload to radio" pick is "greyed out" and will not function. What am I doing wrong?

You should start another topic since this one is about the BF-T1. But to answer your question, your problem is that you created a file without downloading from the radio first. You must download from the radio to create a tab that is compatible with the radio. Save the first successful download, unedited, to a file to be kept in a safe place as a backup. After that you can save the tab again with its "working" name to be edited with your channels (you can import the list you made) and upload it to your radio.
