[chirp_users] Yeasu FT-60R Issue
Pardon me if this has already been asked and answered. Last night I cloned my FT-60 with the repeaters in St. Louis from Repeaterbook.com with CHIRP. The frequencies that we're programmed manually work fine. When I try to key the mike on the new frequencies, all I get is "error". Any suggestions?
In the interest of full disclosure, the radio and I are new to the hobby.
Thanks in advance,

John, CHIRP is compatible with over 60 models of transceiver. To determine which model you are trying to program, you first need to Download from Radio to create an initial template. This let's CHIRP know you are working with an FT-60. Load your changes to the new template, them perform an Upload to Radio.
No need for the 'full disclosure'. We were All new to this once. :- )
I hope this helps... Enjoy your new toy.

Hello guys and girls. Tell me please, how i can help with adding tyt 9800 transceiver to the chirp? I have transceiver, data cable, manufacturer software, some time and hardware engineering experience. If someone can help me to start - i think we can add that great radio to the chirp. Thanks in advice, 73. Rechnp.

Hi Rechnp,
This was asked and answered about a week ago in the thread "How can I help add support for more radios?" Here is a link to the original post.

The important thing is to get signed up for the development mailing list. That is where I get many of my questions answered.
We are looking forward to your participation.

Same here! I even consider to sell mine if there is no support in the near future since there is no way to program it on a Mac.

John,
Attach your edited and saved CHIRP .img file from your radio. Also describe which channels were from programmed manually. Also, does programmed manually mean manually in CHIRP or manually in the radio?
