Re: [chirp_users] chirp_users Digest, Vol 103, Issue 13
Hello chirp_users,
I am registered but my registration details are not accepted by chirp and when I try to change them it says that I am already registered! So I cannot go throught the usual procedures to make a request.
I would like the Puxing PX888 to be added to the list of radios that chirp can handle. I can't understand why it isn't already supported, there must be thousands of them out there, but hey, there you go.
Regards, Chris

Greetings,
A new daily build of CHIRP is available. This includes changes made directly to the tree yesterday, and may include additional features, bug fixes, and/or bugs. If you are interested in trying it, grab it from the following location:
http://trac.chirp.danplanet.com/chirp_daily/daily-20170714
A list of the changes included in this build (since the last daily) follows:
Changes for Build #498 [Jim Unroe rock.unroe@gmail.com] [KT8900] Extra ID Doesn't Match
When a QYT KT8900 radio has had a passcode stored in it by the factory software, the 'extra ID' will not match the string that CHIRP expects to see.
This patch relaxes the check by removing what are apparently the passcode bytes from the string that CHIRP expects to see in the 'extra ID'.
Bug #4993
