HI All,

I am trying to program a pair of Kenwood TK-862G with the -1 designation for a repeater link. I can read and write to the radio. However, I can't set the frequency to within the ham band, I get an out of range error. One of the radios I have had a ham frequency programmed into it and I can read it and write it to another radio. I have searched for a setting but can't seem to find one that allows me to set the frequency to the ham band.
