[chirp_users] XP Runtime error
I am trying to run Chirp on an ASUS Eee PC with Windows XP. The OS is a stripped down version to fit the limited storage on the PC.
I get the error message "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." Can anyone suggest the cause please?
Thanks
Howard
Howard, I have one of those Eee PCs. I'll have to try running CHIRP on it.
To be honest with you, I would suggest that you try the CHIRP Live cd. Just 'burn' it to a USB flash drive or an SD card and boot from it. Your only problem then would be screen resolution. Jim KC9HI

It's in the FAQ and in the archives here as it gets asked a lot. Please utilize those resources.
Thanks!
