[chirp_users] [PATCH 1/2] allow flashing by block numbers on THD-72
The current thd72.py module already can flash by block numbers based on a dirty block list maintained by the memory editor, but this adds the ability to do the same from the command line. This allows intrepid users to manually (or programatically) modify an image and flash back those individual blocks. This is especially useful for doing things that the gui doesn't do yet, like modifying the startup splash screen.

Hi Vernon,
Just so you know, we don't send patches to the users mailing list, because the people there are extremely non-technical.
Until about four months ago, I was the sole contributor, so this wasn't a problem. There are a few of us now, but the others just send patches directly to me.
I'm not sure it's worth a devel list for patches, but if you think it's worthwhile I can certainly set one up. What do you think?

Whoops, I meant to say "the discussion is mostly non-technical" ! :)
Hehe. Okay. I will just send patches to you. If there are only a few contributors, I am not sure how much it matters.
