Asking again - does anyone know how to patch Chirp to recognize a TX Modded FT 2900? There has got to be somewhere to edit in the response header.
Thanks,
Tom B.

I don't know if either link above will address your modded radio question, but you may be able to get a hand from other FT 2900 enthusiasts on those posts.

Hello Bill,
To make some progress on supporting your mod'ed radio, I imagine you'll need to submit a debug log and image of both your current radio and the mod'ed radio reset back to factory defaults. See
http://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/FAQ#How-can-I-get-my-radio-su...
for more details. From there, the Chirp developers at be can see what might be required to support this variant. It might take some time though as I'm sure there is a stack of existing radio work in front of of the Chirp volunteer team.
