[chirp_users] Setting CIRP to display name
When I set B to display the channel name it displays 70CM CA which is the name of frequency 446.000 in stead of the name of all the frequencies that I am using on A. How can I fix this?

It would help to know which radio model you are talking about. But I am going to take a guess and assume it is a Baofeng UV-5R or UV-82 like radio.
At the radio you can menu 21 (MDF-A) and menu 22 (MDF-B) to choose the Memory Display Format (MDF). The choices are CH, NAME and FREQ.
Review the guide that matches your radio model the closest. https://www.miklor.com/COM/UV_MenuDef.php
Using CHIRP you would use the following settings...
Settings -> Basic Settings -> Display Mode (A): Channel | Name | Frequency Settings -> Basic Settings -> Display Mode (B): Channel | Name | Frequency

My radio is Baofenf UV-5R. I am learning to use chirp. That why I'm puzzled. I used CHIRP to program my radio and I did tell it to display frequency on A, and name on B. I got unexpected results in that B seems to be locked on 70CM CA the call frequency.

This is because the top (A) and bottom (B) display lines are independent. They are not, and can not be, automatically synchronized.
If the top display line is selected (black triangle to the left), scrolling through the channels only occurs on the A display line. You have to tap the [A/B] button to select the bottom display line (black triangle to the left) to enable scrolling on the B display line.

Aha! Thank you.

You might find it useful to spend some time looking at the UV-5R and BF-F8HP sections of this website. https://www.miklor.com/uv5r/
