[chirp_users] no drivers found for UV-S9 programming cable - solved

Found a guide online that pointed me to tenwayradio.com/download-center with instructions on installing the CH-340 driver. Downloaded, unzipped, and ran the program and voila! I now have COM3.
Next step is loading local repeaters into CHIRP.
BTW, this is supposedly a tri-band but it won't allow freqs on the 1.25 M band???
Thank you for the responses. Sorry I didn't find this sooner!

As shown on the Supported Radio Models list on the CHIRP home page.
* UV-S9 (tri-power: use BF-F8HP) * UV-S9/S9T (tri-band: use Radioddity UV-5RX3)
