[chirp_users] Installing Chirp on Mageia Linux
Mageia Linux is an community based system, using RPM packages similar to Fedora Quite a bit more user friendly & good long term stability
I was having trouble installing chirp the methods described weren't working, I posted a thread https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7508&p=47820#p47820
probably the wiki could be updated?
Hello Garth,
Though the second comment got you to explicitly install Chirp, your original post was about getting your distribution to track the Chirp *repository* for FUTURE releases. When you downloaded tried to install that Repo RPM, what did it say? What program did you use to try installing that Repo RPM?
