[chirp_users] USB port 'Serial' object has no attribute 'setTimeout'
Running Chirp on Ubuntu 16.05 LTS. I am a total newbie to Linux. Learning as I go.I am having a hard time getting Chirp to work. I am attempting to connect to a Baofeng UV-5RA and, Wouxun KG-UV8D, also a Yeasu FT-2900R. I have made sure that I added myself to the group Dialout.
I am getting the error; Failed to communicate with radio: 'Serial' object has no attribute 'setTimeout'.
I have googled and searched for a solution to no avail. Any and all help greatly appreciated.

Ubuntu 16.04 switched from pyserial 2 to pyserial 3. Chirp added pyserial 3 support in the June 11 daily build:
