[chirp_users] Downloading CTCSS codes to a Baofeng GT-3TP
I am new to this so please treat me gently....
Is it possible to download CTCss codes to a Baofeng GT-3TP handset? The file format I get via CHIRP does not include this column.
Cheers
Calum
Yes it does. It's called "tone".

For my Baofeng UV-82HP I double click in the "Tone Mode" column and pick "TSQL" from the drop down list and then pick the frequency from a drop down list under ToneSQL.

You only want TSQL if the repeater puts out a tone. Otherwise, just use TONE.

For clarity, the convention in CHIRP is that you download from the radio to CHIRP and upload from CHIRP to the radio.
