What you want to do cannot be done. The UV-5R (and similar radio models) have a single bank of 128 channels (0-127). Both the top (A) display line and bottom (B) display line have equal access to these 128 channels. These radios do not include a feature that allows the user to separate them channels by display line.

A UV5R only has one channel bank. The channels cannot be separated into two sections.

If you want the appearance of a VHF bank and a UHF bank, you could put the VHF frequencies in memories 1-64 and UFH frequencies in memories 65-128, then just keep A in the top half of memories and B in the bottom half of the memories.
