[chirp_users] UV-5RTP Settings Tab
Good afternoon,
I recently set up my UV-5RTP using chirp. I uploaded my new memories but went back to change some settings and the settings tab is blank. I have re uploaded, restarted the program and radio, and tried to start over to no avail. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Jack

This usually happens when one or more settings in the radio are out of range. Which settings can usually be determined by reviewing the debug.log file. If you would email your "image" file to me, I will determine which settings are amiss, set them to valid values and return the fixed image to you.

It is listed in the Supported Radio Models list on the CHIRP home page. I don't have the Baojie BJ-218 but I have the Luiton LT-725uv variant. It programs fine with CHIRP. I know others that have the BJ-218 and use CHIRP to program it.
