Hello All, Where can I buy a programming cable that will work with CHIRP, Windows 10, and my Yaesu VX-6? Thanks.

Coincidentally enough, just recently I tried to help a friend program up their VX-6. Discovered my FTDI cable from RTSystems *won't* fit into the port once the plug is removed. The rubber over-molding is just a titch larger diameter than the radio. It worked fine on my FT-60.
If I can't find a Yaesu-brand cable to borrow, I'll have to try shaving the rubber back.

I use the Valley Enterprises cable with my VX7, it has worked fine. It's designed to fit the Yaesu waterproof port.

I never play with cables and just get the RT Systems one. Sometimes I use chirp, but when I have difficulty with that and can't make it work, I get the s/w, too. Am checking to see right now. Looks like I have it. It's the same as used with the Yaesu VX-7R radio, which I have both the s/w and cable for. Take care and let me know.
