[chirp_users] seeing my posting

I am confused how this users group works.
I posted an question but am not sure how to get back to see responses.
Is there also a web site version I might access?
Thx, Richard

Richard,
This is a mailing list. Depending on your choice when you signed up, any messages to the list will come to you as individual emails or grouped up in a digest.

If you send all email with [chirp_users] in the subject to a separate folder, then have that folder sorted by threads, it becomes easy to follow any thread. As long as people use 'reply to' a message, they should thread nicely. Most do. This is typical of mailing lists as long as I can remember -- going back 20+ years.

I have a quick question. If there is a group discussion going on where several people have joined in, should I just hit "Reply" to the message I am replying to, or should I hit "Reply To All" since it is a group discussion? I am using Yahoo email with Windows 10.
Thanks,Dan

A "Reply" is all that is neecessary. You are replying to the mailing list (chirp_users@intrepid.danplanet.com). The list server will then "broadcast/forward" your reply to all of the chirp_users mailing list members regardless of if they have "joined in" or not.

The archives of the list are available at:
http://intrepid.danplanet.com/pipermail/chirp_users/
That page is linked from the main mailing list page included on every message. The archives aren't real time, there's a delay before they get updated.

Be aware, however, that the behavior is somewhat list-specific. Reply, on some lists, will only send the reply to the originator of the message. One feature I like about Thunderbird is that there is alsa "reply to list" option. I recall seeing that on Mutt also.
