[chirp_users] chirp-daily-20140714-win32
Hello, anyone has the chirp-daily-20140714 ?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
Emil
Hi Emily, that is a very old version! Is there something specific to that version you are in need of?
Also are you needing Windows, Mac or Linux release? A Linux "release" is probably easier to come by since the source code can be "reset" to that date.

Does 2014 08 12 help?
https://web.archive.org/web/20140813105412/http://trac.chirp.danplanet.com/c...
Is the manufacturer software helpful or not because of the radios state?
As an alternative, if you can get a Linux box or virtual machine, you can poke around the chirp source directly and make your own "bypass" if that's what you really how you want to do things. For the record, these are not great ideas, but if I had a bricked radio I'd probably be doing the same thing you are.

You don't really need that old version. You just need to upload an image that was from a radio with the exact same "real" firmware version. But I just put the file you are looking for at the link below.

Jim, thanks for the suggestion, I tried with those images, I have the original image before it broke down, (I ran out of power) I also have the image from the factory ....
The problem is that Firmware Messages 1 and 2 is empty.
It does not accept ANY image because there is a blank image on the radio.
Anything I upload says it is not compatible with the current image... even the original backup
The only solution is to forcefully load the original image.
And I can only do this with the requested version 20140714.
I tried with 0.4.1 and older versions, but older versions of Chrip does not communicate with the radio...

Have you tried the radio manufacturer for firmware replacement?

These radios don't have replaceable firmware. The "firmware" is on a one-time programmable chip and that one-time was used at the factory.
CHIRP Radio Images (*.img) files are not firmware. I don't know who started calling them that, but that is an incorrect description of what they are.

Jim, thank you very much, I downloaded it, we've been looking for it for a week...
I managed to rewrite the original image on the radio and now it works!
Thank you very much for your help and promptness!
Sending healthy vibes in your direction.
Emil, 73!

That is good news. I think I go ahead and leave that file there, then. It may be useful to others with the same situation.
