That looks correct as well but chirp had an issue with pySerial v3

I have tried to get the USB to become active.
- I have updated to the latest CHIRP.
- I read near the bottom of the CHIRP installation page the instructions for activating the USB ports.
- I have the latest python.
Here is the output:

SOLVED!
From the Ubuntu Forums it was suggested that I delete the current copy of CHIRP and then install the Daily Update.
This worked perfectly. I hope this thread helps others out, too.
