Have a new Baofeng UV-5RM HP. Cannot find support for this unit to program. Any news on when CHirp will support this one?

Have tried UV-5R several times. Is theBF-F8HP the same? Have not found any documentation to support that.

The BF-F8HP is typically the model that is selected for the radios like this that have 3 power levels. Unfortunately Baofeng has been shipping radios like this with a firmware that CHIRP recognized as a radio with 2 power levels (the UV-5R).

The BF-F8HP does not work either, says selected wrong radio, same as UV-5R.
