I use CHIRP for UV-5R and like it fine. However,I want to use it for my mobile and I got an error "Global name "data undefined". I got a copy of the Icom sw and it will not connect either. I am using Vista and a genuine Prolific cable. Am getting worn out up and down steps carrying the laptop. HELP! What does that error message denote? 73 GL CUL DE WA8WHP (FRANK) AR
