[chirp_users] FT8900 cable
Does anyone know if the cable for this radio has seperate TX and RX data Pins? I want to use a spare cable for an Anytone AT5888UV which has TX and RX combined. I thought I might just put that signal wire on both the RX and TX pins of the Yaesu's mini 6 pin plug if it has separates.
Will that work, before I start tearing cables apart?
Disregard, only 1 pin needed + ground. That's cool because I can covert the old DB9 cable instead of buying new.

RX and TX are on the same line, pin 3 which is also the data jack PTT line. It should work if your cable has TTL level data. I use an Icom CI-V cable with an adapter for the 6 pin mini-din.
