[chirp_users] Are packages 64 bit?
Hi, I'm new to this list, just a quick question; are the files on the download page all 64 bit? Thanks for the help,
Don

Probably not. They're generic Python scripts.

That depends.
The Unix versions are distributed as Python scripts so it would depend on the version of Python installed. The Windows versions (installer and .ZIP) wrap everything into binaries. Since the installer places the binaries in C:\Program Files (x86) and the ZIP file name contains a reference to 'win32' it would seem that both versions are 32-bit. I am unsure regarding the Mac version, but the information here suggests that it uses the systems 64-bit python runtime:

All apps as of macOS 10.15.x (Catalina) (released 2019) had to be 64-bit or they wouldn’t run at all.
Apple was pushing developers for several years to make their apps 64-bit and then finally drew the line.
