Hi, I imported the frequencies for the CB channels, which apparently the TYT TH 9800 will receive RX only AFAIK, into a CVS file for later import. Since CB is AM, would it be right to put AM in the column that usually has FM in it? Thanks.

You could try saving one manually in the radio and then export it using chirp to see what it looks like.
