to whom are you trying to transmit ?

Directly to another radio via simplex, or to a repeater ?

Have you checked the following:

- Correct Receive & Transmit freq settings - Correct CTCSS / DCS tones for Transmit / Receive ?

Did you program your radio manually or using CHIRP ?
