#55: SKIP field not editable - mis-read on import ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- Reporter: KN0N | Type: Bug Status: new | Priority: Functionality Milestone: 0.1.10b2 | Component: Memory Editor Version: 0.1.9 | Keywords: SKIP Platform: Windows | ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- Doing a ICF file conversion for the 880 I am not getting the SKIP field to come in correctly. Some are OK, but most are set to "P" where the were blank in the original. If I edit the SKIP field in CHIRP the changes do not "stick". If you can't replicate it let me know and I will attach some data files & logs.

Sorry for the delay in asking, but if you could attach an affected ICF file, that would be much appreciated. It definitely shouldn't differ from ICF to the real radio, but it's entirely possible I'm missing a bit in either the get or set of those flags.
Thanks!

Comment(by KN0N):
The behavior has changed in the .1.10.b9 release on Windows. Now if I attempt to change the SKIP field to any other value, I get an error window:
Invalid value for this field Unsupported operand type(s) for &: 'str' and 'int'
The problem is not restricted to ICF conversions. Attached is a Clone dump of my 880 that exhibits the error. Also note that the Skip field is not read properly- it does not match the actual radio data. I am also attaching the ICF dump of the rig.
I don't know if you want a separate ticket for it, but the BANK names are also ignored by the Clone read into CHIRP.
NOTE: This may only be happening with the 880. I was not exhaustive in checking the 2820 profile but I know I was able to edit the Skip setting with no error box.

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the images I'll take a look. I don't think I've finished the skip flag part of the code for the 880 driver, so that's probably the source of the problem.
I know the bank names aren't implemented yet either, so yeah, if you want to file another tracker for that so I don't forget I'd appreciate it.
Thanks a lot for testing!
