what is with your software it only let me pick com 3 and all of mine other radio work on com 9 what do i have to to do make you software work on my uv5 radio all my other radios work fine

It's nothing to do with our software.
It's to do with the com port that Windows has allocated to your radio.
Go to device manager and you can change them.

It is your operating system that picks the Com port not chirp.

I noticed that the COM port would switch to a new number depending on which USB port it was plugged into.
