[Rhett Robinson rrhett@gmail.com] Adds support for a raw-mode Icom driver. This is required for the IC-2730A (part of #2745).
Hi all,
A new daily build of CHIRP is available. This includes changes made directly to the tree yesterday, and may include additional features, bug fixes, and/or bugs. If you are interested in trying it, grab it from the following location:
This build included a change to the core Icom communication protocol module, which has been basically unchanged and working for every model since like 2008. If anyone with an older Icom could try this build to make sure everything still works, that would be great. I'm thinking something like a 2200, 2820, 800, 880, etc. Please report back here if you test it so we know.
Thanks!

Does this now allow Chirp to talk to the Icom ID-5100?
