[chirp_users] QuangSheng TG-K10AT addition
Hi! I recently purchased this radio and there's no software that I can find for it. It seems to have a quite different way of programming than all the baofengs, SenHaix and others I've had.
I've programmed the PMR channels by hand, but it was very time consuming and I don't know if there are some options I haven't accessed yet.
If the model would be added, that'd be great.
Thanks!
Hello,
I am able to find the official software from their Chinese official website. The website is http://link.bbqporkmccity.com/ls/click?upn=aMOMx1SMz1gKqo3ifUC0d3JTNkOuwcJKH... Chinese). Product page is http://link.bbqporkmccity.com/ls/click?upn=aMOMx1SMz1gKqo3ifUC0d0Lu9-2FRvUEM... The direct download link is http://link.bbqporkmccity.com/ls/click?upn=aMOMx1SMz1gKqo3ifUC0d37RfcNg8Qfin...

To request support for a new radio, the process - at a high-level - is the following:
- Create an account on chirp website (if you don't have one already)
- Log in to chirp site
- Create a 'support a new radio' request indicating if you can supply a radio/prog cable to aid the programmers test their code
Many factors go into the decision to support a particular model including (but not limited to) such things as popularity, similarity to a currently supported radio, availability of technical documentation, and personal interest of the volunteer programmer.
I see a list member was able to locate the OEM programming software, that's good.
