If by target it meant the .tar.gz file or even the .whl file, both were in download folder, plus in devices, "apps" folder and have both added in the path. (Not simultaneously.) Trying to use pipx produces pipx doesn't exist error even though Python is supposed to be installed and it's full versions installed of versions 2, 3, and 4. All of the supposed dependencies are installed, yet it can't neither "upgrade", "reinstall", "uninstall", nor "install" chirp-next in any form or fashion. Nothing is able to produce a workable version of Chirp on SteamOS (Arch Linux on Steam Deck), currently. At least not on my deck.
(Have to admit, I hate Arch Linux, and am very new to using it, let alone Linux altogether but, have less problem getting things done on Debian based Linux's.)

What does it on Arch Linux, more specifically SteamOS?
`yay -S chirp-next` should do it.
(Or whatever AUR helper you use.)
