Hi
I am trying to connect my BF888s radios to the chirp software via a usb cable on my mac - OSX 10.11.3 The cable is not being recognised in the software
please can anyone help

You will need to install the correct pl2303 driver for OSX. Please take a look at http://miklor.com website for a link to the correct driver.
