[chirp_users] kenwood to baofeng
In the attached are kenwood (top) and baofeng column names. Which columns in baofeng do I put the kenwood QT/DQT Enc & QT/DQT Dec numbers that are circled?
Do I also have to change Tone Mode to TSql, DTCS, or Cross?
thx in advance,
Didn't you ask this question and get answers last week?

Last week I was just putting in channels that only had a number in the QT/DQT Enc, now I run across channels with numbers in both, -jm

I am new to the CHIRP community and have been following some of the discussions. I am impressed to see how wiling everyone is share their knowledge. I have been online reading and have not been able to find the answer I need.
My question: is there a way to have a frequency programmed in Chirp so that my Baofeng UV5R will monitor but cannot transmit on that channel?
Blessings,
Joe Douthitt KN4AXA
Yes .You may need to verifie, But I believe you can go to the the duplex setting for the freq you don't want to TX on buy setting the duplex to the OFF setting an then test it buy pressing the PTT an see if the TX indicator light up.It should not if I am right.

Masterwulfe,
You are right, I can still monitor, but only on that frequency the PTT does not function!
Thank you!
