the snap-installed version.

As far as I know, the CHIRP project has never provided an official
snap-build. However, back when I was running the snap build of the
legacy CHIRP on Linux Mint 21, I added "--channel=latest/edge" to my
command to make sure I received the latest snap build available. YMMV

sudo snap refresh chirp-snap --channel=latest/edge
