Sometime Chirp will show multiple com ports. Especially if you move the cable around to different USB ports.

 

Make sure you try all of them.

New Dell PC

 

Chirp and Ft60r will not communicate.   Tried all the physical usb ports and numbered ports.   Com port recognizes the cable.
