Thanks Jack... I got it to work after selecting FT-857 (not FT-857D) as the radio type (even though the radio is an FT-857D -- the error message sort-of prompted me to do that.

Just be sure to read the radio first then you should be able to modify the spreadsheet or import another spreadsheet I've done it many times
