The contacts are inside the socket. You can change the socket. You can try the things mentioned in miklor FAQ 8.1 at the page below.
You could put solder on the socket leads as shown in the attached photo that was provided by Baofeng to someone else that had this issue (the picture was from 2014 or earlier so the board may be different on newer radios. try it at your own risk).
